She is a Wayne graduate and a graduate of Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo. My first teaching job was in Cario, Mosouri. After 2 years, she got a job teaching for Alaska Gateway School District, teaching in Northway and Tanacross, Alaska. Living in a primarily Athabascan Indian community gave her a new appreciation of life's conveniences and cultures. She returned home to Wayne Community School Districts with her two children and has been teaching since 1995. Her hobbies include cheering on her kids, fishing, camping, music, dancing, and spending time with friends and family.
She teaches students with special needs. Each student is an idividual that needs specific skills. Some of the areas included in my day are: reading, math, handwriting, toileting, social skills, and hygengine. I also spend time researching different diagnosis to best help my students. Her program is based on: Respect, Responsibility, Acceptance and Laughter!
