Jane Mendenhall is currently teaching 3rd grade at Wayne Elementary. She has taught 22 years in the Wayne school district as: Elementary and Jr. High Tag, Jr. High Remedial Math, Kindergarten, D.K., and 2nd grade. Before coming to Wayne, Jane taught 5 years as a second grade teacher in Cainsville, Mo. She graduated from Truman State University, Kirksville, Mo.
Jane lives south of Garden Grove on Hwy 2 with her husband, Sam, and children Justin and Hanna. Sam is a farmer and works along with his brother, Mark, and nephew, Zach. Justin is a Jr. at ISU majoring in agriculture. Hanna is a Jr. at Central Decatur High School in Leon. Jane likes to garden, read, follow her children in all of their activities, and volunteer her time to 4-H and CD school.
